Athena has worked hard to develop a pelvic floor exerciser especially for women to use at home. It has been designed with convenience and lifestyle in mind. The initial idea for Athena came from a lady who was the youngest of 5 and had laughed with her mother and sisters over their pelvic control issues at various life stages. She and her husband, who was a doctor, spent many years developing the Athena.
The Athena Spirit Pelvic Muscle Trainer offers a superior level of performance with the convenience and portability of a cordless design. Using the Cordless Athena for just 15 minutes twice a day for 8 to 12 weeks will help to give you back confidence and control to live life to the full. Each 15 minute session gives you 180 contractions and you can just lie back and relax, read a magazine, look at your emails or even do the ironing. For optimum results we recommend that you work along with the contractions and this will become easier as your muscle strength improves.
You should notice a difference with your pelvic control in a matter of weeks and once you have completed an 8-12 week training session you can progress onto a maintenance programme and use the Athena just once or twice a week to maintain optimum pelvic strength.

Athena Controller
On and Off switch: To begin your pelvic workout simply flick the 'On' switch.
If at any point during your 15 minute workout you wish stop, simply flick the 'Off' switch. (The Athena will automatically stop once your 15 minute workout has finished)
Also when you hold the 'On' button down, you can switch between the 3 different pre-set programmes.
Dial: The rotating dial allows you to regulate the intensity of the Athena Pelvic Exerciser.
Channel switch: This button allows you to switch between the 2 modes:
Stress Incontinence Mode (50Hz) - the Athena tones & strengthens your pelvic floor muscle.
Urge Incontinence Mode (12.5 Hz) - the Athena relaxes your muscles and discourages the involuntary muscle contractions that lead to urge incontinence.
If you suffer from both forms of Incontinence simply alternate treatments.
The Athena Probe
The wireless probe is a smooth, small device about the size of a lipstick tube. It has two stainless steel electrodes that generate safe and reliable electrical stimulation throughout your workout. Also because the probe is cordless, your workout will remain completely discreet whilst giving you freedom to move around.
